Though this would be the first public office I will hold, should I be elected, that does not mean I do not have important skills that will be of great service to the residents of the 13th Congressional District. I am an experienced business man, have donated many many hours to community service, and have a great understanding as to the needs of the communities I would represent.
I know what it means to build and manage a business, to create jobs and put people to work. I understand how government can be oppressive to that process and I want to assure you, if elected, I will work to make it easier to attain that American dream again, whether it is to start a business or to simply have and hold a job that will provide for you and your family.
It is true that I was not born in this country, but I have lived over half of my life here now. I am a naturalized and very proud American citizen. I built my business here, I raised my family here, and I continue to give back to my community. I believe completely in the US Constitution, and the freedoms and liberty that it confirms for every citizen of this Republic. It angers and saddens me to see those in office today and the recent past, ignore and outright tramp all over the Constitution they swore allegiance to.
